Rob Ryan

Rob Ryan

I have of course heard of Rob Ryan but never really looked at his work. That is, until yesterday, when I was in Manchester and had a magazine thrust at me in passing. I normally turn these down but when I saw it had an illustrated cover, I decided to take one. It turns out it’s a pretty interesting magazine (if you’re into women’s fashion) and I was surpised to see it was a Rob Ryan piece on the cover. I decided it was time to take a look at Rob Ryan’s other work after seeing this charming cover. His work is sensitively done and so delicate looking, which is what I love about it. I’m not much of a silohouette person myself, but his are charming and so reconisably his.

I was interested to find out he’s collaborated with fashion label Paul Smith, Vogue and my favourite, Liberty’s of London. I am impressed by the vast array of media his work is applied to, especially the fashion and homewares. I am definitely a newly converted Rob Ryan fan.
