London

London

I’m off to London on tuesday to meet with some prospective clients/art directors. I feel rather out of sorts despite having been preparing for this these last few weeks. I’m hoping an iota of the positivity I was feeling as recently as friday afternoon returns before tuesday when I have my first meeting. I suppose this could just be butterflies… I’m really hoping that something positive comes from this trip, be it in forms of feedback or even better, a commission.

I’ll be sure to share my successes/failures in London here, likely as each day unfolds, as I’m taking my laptop and I’m a blog-geek.

As well as my meetings, I’ll be doing a bit of shopping (of course, it’s me after all) and spending some time at the V&A admiring their current exhibition Treasures of the Royal Courts – anyone who knows me knows I have a passion for Russian Imperialistic history. I’m also going to attempt some sketchbook work whilst down south as well, but we’ll see, I’m not that “into” sketchbooking… yet.

The drawing to the right is part of a speculative editorial piece I’m working on, slowly but surely (I’ve hit a wall in my enthusiasm about this particular bit of work).
