Graph’it Pens from Cult Pens

Graph’it Pens from Cult Pens

Last week, I was sent some artist markers by Cult Pens to try out and test.

I was sent a mixed bag of the French brand Graph’it Markers. I work with markers a lot, when I’m not working digitally, and have tried and own many brands (Pantone Tria, Prismacolor, Kurecolor, Posca, Zig and Promarker – phew), so was excited to be offered the chance to test a new brand.

Alongside the markers, they also sent a blender and a blender palette. Apparently, what makes these markers stand out from others, is that you can mix them on these blender pads to create new colours to be applied with the blender pen. Even when the colours you mixed dry out, you can still use them by just applying the blender tip once again like watercolours. Sounds very interesting to me and I’m looking forward to trying that feature out. Otherwise, they’re a twin tip – the fine tip looks like it *could* be finer, but we’ll see when I have a go with them. Rather handily, the colour is shown on each of the pen, allowing for easy selection if stored in a case or box.

They come in 156 colours, which is comparable with the other twin tips ranges available. I look forward to playing with the ones I have been sent and seeing what I can come up with! Come back soon and see what I’ve done.
