Client Work: Elizabeth Haydn Style

Recently I was contacted by Liz of Elizabeth Haydn Style, a wardrobe consultant, to create some figures for her website as well as some “body shape” charts. Now the figures are done, I have been given permission by Liz to share them. I am happy enough with them, but more importantly the client is happy with them. It had been a while since I had the opportunity to draw fashion figures for a purpose, so I was a bit out of practice, and I can now see my errors but c’est la vie. It was also nice to return to my pencil and marker pens, which give a painterly-feel to the images. I have a few more jobs coming up, regarding fashion figures, so I hope to get back into the swing of things and improve as I move forward.

Regarding the client, who contacted me through my website (turns out it’s not all for nothing), she was a pleasure to work with. She gave me a lot of creative freedom and good feedback when needed. I look forward to pursuing the future projects she has lined up for me.
